the WELCOME OF HEAVEN
in our midst
Our DNA
.
The Foyer is a house where the welcome of heaven is in our midst and a home where you belong without question

It is a place where you can lay down your baggage.
Where you are called by name.
And where your heart is spoken to, not just talked about.

It's like the foyer of a home: a space to arrive, to breathe, to be welcomed and sent. But a foyer is not the whole house. It exists to draw you deeper - toward the table, toward the family, toward Jesus.
We believe love that costs something changes everything.
When a community welcomes one another with sacrificial love, you won't be drawn to events, pastors, or buildings.
You'll be drawn to Jesus.

At the Foyer, we aim to love THIS radically:
So that the prodigals of our families find a place to come home.
So that the strangers we know nothing of are invited into community.
So that the outcasts of our churches discover they still belong.

All for the name and fame of Jesus.

About Rock Hill
.
Rock Hill is considered churched by most evangelical and religious research groups. So why would we go there?
Rock Hill is a Diverse Community with Unmet Needs
Rock Hill is home to a thriving community of around 75,000 people, with significant racial and cultural diversity — nearly 40% of residents are African American and around 8% are Hispanic/Latino. At the same time, about 1 in 7 residents live below the poverty line, and many families and children face economic strain. These dynamics mean there are real opportunities to love neighborhoods, serve compassionately, and build bridges across cultures and life experiences.
Rock Hill Exhibits a wide range of Family and Life Patterns
With a wide range of ages and household types — from young families to working adults to single caregivers — Rock Hill reflects many of the complex realities of modern life that people are wrestling with: relationships, work, identity, and belonging. A church that engages with life honestly — not just programmatically — can help people connect faith with everyday life.
Rapid Development and Urban Momentum
Rock Hill is growing and evolving — attracting new homes, jobs, and economic energy pushed by business development, workforce growth, and ongoing urban renewal efforts. As people move here and neighborhoods change, there’s an increasing need for spaces of lasting community and spiritual grounding rather than transient consumer experiences. A church can be a place of deep connection amid growth.
Spaces for Belonging Beyond Church Attendance
Even though there are many churches in Rock Hill, many people — from those new to faith or those hurt by past experiences — are looking for community that feels like home rather than something to consume. A church plant can join existing work in the city by offering fresh rhythms of welcome, presence, and practical love that point people toward Jesus and toward each other in meaningful ways.
Church Planters

Connor and Sonoma Moseley

We have long loved the Bride of Christ and Rock Hill. Believing that the Church is Jesus' plan A for redemption throughout all the earth, we are dedicating our lives to the urgent growth of His Kingdom. While we currently reside in Lynchburg, VA, where we serve and attend our sending church, we both grew up in SC and have a beating heart for the Church of Rock Hill. We are dedicated to a vision for a church that is marked by both costly hospitality and atypical belonging - only for and by the presence of God himself.

Support The Foyer
.
Accelerate our impact and worship the Lord by providing financial resources for the name and fame of Jesus. The Foyer exists because of the generosity of people who believe in what God is building here. Every gathering, conversation, and act of love is made possible through faithful financial support. Your giving is not supplemental—it sustains the work and allows us to continue creating space for formation, worship, and community.
Our giving page will launch in October of 2026
